In looking to bury the memories of last season, which was marred by too many close losses and way too many injuries, The Mike’s Place Tel Aviv Sabres enter their third year with a myriad of question marks, but also a few answers.
 
With almost a 70% turnover in players and the addition of several new coaching assistants, head coach David Miller and returning assistant Jon Sharon feel they are talented and very deep, and the pieces are in place for what could prove to be a very intriguing season.
 
Returning veterans Tamir Elterman, Daniel Nissman, Said Abulafia, Yoni Shochet, Yoni Dean and All-IFLers Hamoude Kassas and Liran Hovav lead a young and talented group of players. Newcomers Alex Trafton, Roni Srisuren, Niv Sultan and Evan Reshef will also be worth watching. Needless to say, the Sabres have high expectations, and apparently the talent to deliver them.
